Sponsor Beth’s 108 Kora (circumambulation) of Boudhanath Stupa
On Sunday 3rd December, Beth, our Assistant SPC whom many of you may have met during a visit to LoJ, will be attempting to circumambulate Boudhanath Stupa in Nepal 108 times as well as offering paint and prayer flags to the stupa.
This is no small task and is likely to take 8-9 hours of constant walking.
Why is she doing it? Boudhanath stupa is said to be one of the most precious and powerful in the world. Therefore, walking around it creates an immense amount of merit (positive karma or energy) which can be directed to many things such as the success of a project or the health of certain people and of course, for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Beth is inviting you to send names of people or projects you might like her to dedicate the merit she gathers towards, helping relieve sicknesses or other problems they might be experiencing.
If you would like to make an offering in return, or would just like to sponsor her efforts, you can send a donation via our webpage http://landofjoy.co.uk/kurukulla/. All money raised will support this incredibly worthwhile project.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any names you would like Beth to dedicate the merit to and the reason for the dedication if you wish.
Don’t miss out on getting involved in such a precious opportunity which many of us won’t have the chance to do ourselves.
Good luck Beth!
