Mantras 2017-07-05T15:53:12+00:00

While visiting Greenhaugh Hall (now the home of Land of Joy) in 2014, Lama Zopa Rinpoche recommended the Ganapati Mantra for Success was recited to ensure the establishment and then continuing success of the centre.

Land of Joy has now grown from holding our first retreat in 2015 to a full retreat programme in 2017, with introductory courses to Highest Yoga Tantra approximation retreats.

Despite the growth and flourishing of our spiritual programme and wonderful success of our generosity model, we are still struggling in other areas. Our urgent roof repairs were completed thanks to generous donors but unfortunately won’t be enough to see us through the next winter thanks to the harsh weather conditions here and so we now need to fully replace half the roof as soon as possible.

Our spiritual programme is also being restricted by limited onsite accommodation and the lack of a second practice space.

Therefore, we still need your help to assist us in creating the merit and therefore the cause for us to be able to replace the roof, renovate the coach house and build individual retreat huts. This will supply further accommodation, house our Kurukulla statue currently being made as recommended by Lama Zopa Rinpoche and keep us dry and safe through the upcoming winter.

For further information on the projects please visit our projects page

We are hugely grateful to the many people who are already generously reciting the Ganapati Mantra for our success, creating positive energy and sending it our way.

Until now we haven’t had the means to keep an ongoing count of the numbers of mantras being recited. If you know how many you’ve completed so far, please let us know through info@landofjoy.co.uk and we will add them to our counter.

If you would like to become a part of our Ganapati project please let us know using the link below and we will try to be in touch every few months to collect your mantra numbers to add to the count on this page.

You don’t have to do the whole practice, just the mantra with the strong motivation for it to help remove any obstacles that might prevent Land of Joy from successfully completing these projects and continuing to thrive as a centre in general. Think that reciting them will enabling Land of Joy to fulfil all our wishes and be as beneficial to all sentient beings as possible. Then dedicate all the positive energy you have created to the success of Land of Joy and the removal of all obstacles as well as the benefit of all sentient beings.

Forty people reciting just seven mantras a day will add up to 100,000 mantras in a year – that’s amazing!

The more mantras that are recited for us the more likely it is we will continue to succeed in benefiting all those who come here and all sentient beings elsewhere.

Thank you for being a part of our ongoing journey.
