About the Retreat

This retreat is open to anyone who has received the Kalacakra initiation. We will practise the Kalacakra Six-session Guruyoga composed by Yongdzin Ling Rinpoche, senior tutor of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, based on the Dalai Lama’s requested structure. It is highly popular among Kalacakra practitioners worldwide and has been translated into over 14 languages.

The retreat will enable one to learn the practice, with daily teaching and discussion sessions to supplement the main practice sessions. Through it one may complete the nearing retreat with the burnt offering ritual, based on fulfilling the required mantra count.

This retreat, devised by Jhado Rinpoche for busy practitioners in the 21st century, is short and intense. Through reciting the mantras of the ten shaktis the winds and channels are purified. Through recitation of the main deity mantra and the powerful prayers in the sadhana, the basis is created for achieving enlightenment quickly.

Meditations bringing death and rebirth into the path as dharmakaya and nirmanakaya are the central practices of the sadhana. Moreover, the drop and subtle yogas are unique practices for transforming desire into the path.
