About the Retreat

Instruction and practice on how to do the Kalacakra Mind Mandala nearing retreat, including the preliminary rituals and fire puja

The Kalacakra mind mandala is a most profound and powerful practice of self-transformation and benefit to the world. Not only is one’s path to enlightenment enhanced, but the effort of doing the retreat helps to strengthen the energies that harmonise the inner and outer elements, thus contributing to environmental and social wellbeing.

Anyone who has received the Kalacakra empowerment and who has enthusiasm for the practice is highly recommended to practise the mind mandala nearing retreat. This retreat at Land of Joy in June 2020 will include both practice and instruction to enable you to do this.

The week will be as follows:

Saturday 13th: Instruction & practice on the preliminary rituals.

Sunday 14th – Thursday 18th: Two daily practices of the Kalacakra Mind Mandala Sadhana with instructions on how to do it, including the nearing retreat.

Friday 19th: Preparation for the burnt offering ritual (fire puja)

Saturday 20th: Practicing the burnt offering ritual (fire puja)

Thus, the retreat will be an opportunity to learn the entire process and practice for doing the Kalacakra mind mandala nearing retreat on one’s own or with a self-organising group. The retreat will enable anyone who has completed the mantra count and since then practised the sadhana daily, to complete the nearing retreat through participation in the burnt offering ritual. Moreover, those who have already completed the mind mandala nearing retreat are invited to join us, sharing their knowledge and experience and participating in the rituals.
