Recommended arrival: 3pm – 5pm on the 28th June to join for supper and get settled into the space
Accommodation: Land of Joy wishes for everyone who visits the centre to feel welcome, accepted, safe and secure. Our accommodation options are very limited, with mostly single-sex shared accommodation and a very limited number of single rooms. Single accommodation can therefore only be offered on a priority basis. Please read the relevant sections of the booking form carefully.
About the Retreat
We are delighted to welcome back Liza Weber for her third Kum Nye Yoga retreat at Land of Joy. Her previous retreats have been well attended and received with much enthusiasm, offering participants a unique chance to experience this deeply nourishing Tibetan healing practice in a peaceful and supportive environment.
This retreat, “Tasting Kum Nye: Tibetan Yoga, Massage, and Visualisation”, introduces participants to a series of Tibetan yoga exercises and massage techniques that guide body and mind into a state of profound relaxation. Indeed, as the founder of the Nyingma Institute, Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche, explains, Kum Nye can bring about “a vital and lasting quality greater than the feeling of well-being.”

What to Expect
- Gentle Kum Nye movements, breath awareness, and massage techniques to release tension
- Visualisation practices enriched by the sacred symbolism of Tibetan Buddhist iconography
- Spacious daily sessions that balance guided practice with rest and reflection
