Housekeeping Manager
We are looking to recruit a committed, organised and compassionate person as a housekeeping manager to start as soon as possible for preferably six months to one year.
The person in this role will be responsible for:

Cleaning / deep cleaning of the following areas with additional support as required

Clean and prepare retreat accommodation, including doing any laundry

General cleaning of communal areas, including the kitchen and toilets

Organising waste collections/recycling

Maintaining adequate supplies of cleaning products, toiletries and general household goods

Carrying out required Health & Safety procedures, noting repairs and passing them on to the appropriate person

Working closely with our cook, including assisting and deputising during retreats when required
Qualities/skills required:

Able to work effectively in a small team
-
Comfortable living in a communal setting in a rural location
-
Good hospitality skills
-
Able to manage quite demanding physical work
-
A sense of humour
-
Able to legally work in the UK
-
Respect for the FPMT organisation and willingness to live by the five precepts whilst at Land of Joy
Benefits:

Two days off per week for working 6-8 hours per day for five days a week
